“IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT”
Our fall concert is on the same weekend as Hallowe’en, so we couldn’t help but choose some music that’s dark and mysterious. Whether it’s music from a spooky movie or musical, or music about dark rain clouds and storms, come prepared to be chilled, thrilled, and entertained. We might have a happy ending or two just to balance things out. This concert features guest artist, James Mark on violin who will join the band for Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre as well as Schindler’s List.
It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents—except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind that swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.
